Work mostly Monday - FridayEssential FunctionsCoordinates department day-to-day operations, staff and resources to ensure hospital standards of cleanliness, sanitation and appearance are met.Responsible for hiring, orienting, staff development, education, and performance management. Builds a cohesive team and promotes employee engagement.Ensures department operates according to Intermountain policies / procedures and other regulatory agencies including Joint Commission and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)Ensures department follows EVS system standard processes, guidelines, and suppliesMonitors customer / patient satisfaction scores. Develops and implements plans to achieve desired outcomesManages operating expenses for Environmental Services and Linen.
