Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. • Travel experience is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required after submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: MS/Tele nurses with good cardiac background - Med-Surg/Telemetry/Critical Drips/Trach Care required. RNs required to titrate drips: Heparin, Cardizem (Up to 15mg/hr only), Lasix, Dopamine (low dose renal perfusion only), Amiodarone. Preferred Skills/Experience: Peritoneal Dialysis. Unit and facility details: Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed. Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, rotational holidays. Floating Requirements: If not needed on 3P, would be required to float to 4P or 5P (Med-Surg) units or the Emergency Department to care for boarded patients. Boarders are intermixed in ED. Float pool floats first, then will be in rotation. Other Requirements: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
