A healthcare facility in the Syracuse area is seeking a Dietary Director to oversee daily food service operations.This role is responsible for planning, assigning, and supervising dietary staff, managing schedules and payroll preparation, overseeing food storage and supplies, and ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment. Responsibilities also include checking resident meal trays for menu accuracy, assisting on the tray line during meal service, coordinating food preparation for special events, and stepping in to support other dietary roles such as cook or dietary aide when needed.Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, flexibility to work weekends, and willingness to be hands-on in daily operations.
