Respiratory Therapist – Night ShiftRichmond Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare | Staten Island, NYRichmond Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist for the night shift. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment abilities and experience providing respiratory care in a long-term or post-acute setting.Responsibilities:Assess and monitor residents with respiratory conditionsPerform diagnostic testing and evaluate lung functionInterpret results and communicate findings to the care teamProvide airway management, including secretion removal and clearing obstructionsEducate residents on respiratory health, treatments, and preventionInstruct residents on proper use of respiratory equipment and therapiesRespond to respiratory emergencies, including resuscitation supportCollaborate with physicians on individualized treatment plansFollow infection control, safety, and clinical care protocolsProvide care with respect for residents’ dignity and beliefsQualifications:Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy programCurrent, valid Respiratory Therapist credentials/licenseRespiratory care experience preferred (LTC/post-acute a plus)Strong critical thinking and decision-making skillsDetail-oriented with excellent communication and organizationAbout Us:Richmond Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare is a 372-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Staten Island, committed to resident dignity, independence, and quality care.
