Overview: GovCIO is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) Administrator to join our team in Doral, FL. Responsibilities: Administer MECM to manage software deployments, OS imaging, updates, and patch compliance across the enterpriseDevelop and maintain task sequences, collections, and deployment packages for software and operating system rolloutsMonitor system performance and troubleshoot MECM-related issues, ensuring timely resolutionManage and report on patch compliance, providing remediation plans for systems that fall out of complianceMaintain configuration baselines and enforce endpoint security policiesCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure all updates meet compliance standards and DoD STIG requirementsGenerate detailed reports on asset inventory, deployment status, and compliance metricsDocument SOPs and provide knowledge transfer to junior administrators and helpdesk staff Qualifications: High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)Clearance Required: Secret Required Skills and Experience High School Diploma and 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor’s degreeAssociate’s degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor’s degreeA master’s degree is equivalent to an additional 2 years of experience and a PhD is equivalent to an additional 4 years of experience Minimum 5 years of position-specific experience managing MECM/SCCM environments10+ years of overall IT experience in system administration or desktop managementExpertise in Windows OS deployment, patch management, and application packaging. Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and reportingFamiliarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and enterprise networking conceptsMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
