Systems AdministratorThis position requires an active Secret clearance.The Systems Administrator supports the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) GeoBase program by managing, securing, and maintaining Windows-based infrastructure, including Oracle, IIS, and ArcGIS Server environments. This position focuses on patching, STIG compliance, user and group management, backup/restore, and ongoing RMF/A&A support. Familiarity with geospatial systems is helpful, but the primary focus is secure system administration, vulnerability remediation, and server uptime.Compensation & Benefits:Estimated Starting Salary Range for Systems Administrator: Pay commensurate with experience.Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.  Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.Systems Administrator Responsibilities Include: Administer and patch Windows Server 2019+ environments (including domain-joined and standalone systems)Apply and maintain DISA STIGs using STIG Viewer, SCAP, and other DoD compliance toolsRemediate ACAS scan findings and support POA&M closure activitiesSupport and maintain IIS, ArcGIS Server, and Oracle services at the OS levelManage user and group permissions via Active Directory and local security policiesParticipate in RMF and ATO documentation efforts (e.g., maintaining baseline configs, control evidence)Monitor system event logs and assist with incident detection and responseCoordinate with the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and document system changesMaintain backup and recovery procedures for Windows-based enterprise systemsSupport software inventory, patch deployment, and system hardening effortsAssist with routine SOPs, checklists, and audit preparationPerform other job-related duties as assignedB.A. degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience with Windows Server administration in a DoD or enterprise environment3+ years working with Active Directory or LDAPExperience with STIGs, SCAP scans, ACAS, and RMF/ATO processesFamiliarity with Oracle or similar enterprise RDBMS (at the system level)Experience troubleshooting server, web, or database service issuesExperience with backup/recovery proceduresCompTIA Security+ certificationStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Systems Administrator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Required:Preferred:Experience supporting the USAF GeoBase Program or working with SDSFIE dataFamiliarity with IIS, ArcGIS Server, and enterprise mapping/web toolsBasic scripting or web administration experience (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS)Experience using eMASS or contributing to RMF security documentationAbility to identify internal control weaknesses or system misconfigurationsFamiliarity with SIPR/NIPR system separation and enclave securityMust pass a federal background check and pre-employment screeningOther:M–F on-site at Hickam AFB (100% onsite)8:00 AM – 5:00 PM scheduleNo travel expectedThis position requires an active Secret clearanceCompany Information:Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP) is a part of Cherokee Federal – the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
