Shift: 6:00 PM-6:15 AMHourly Rate: $24.10 an hour + $$1.00 shift differential Maintain accurate and complete records of sampling, testing, and results. Provide training to Quality Assurance and Production associates. Maintain laboratory equipment. Participate in collaborative studies. Conduct incoming materials inspection, assuring compliance with organizational expectations, policy, and specification. Maintain accurate records on incoming material receipts, allowing rapid and accurate tracing. Conduct sampling and testing of ingredients, components, and finished product for analytical and physical testing. Conduct thorough and comprehensive facility inspections. Identify structural and equipment deficiencies, process deficiencies and material/product handling deficiencies. Assure appropriate follow-up and correction of identified problems. Complete routine and assigned reports and summaries in a timely fashion. Provide relief for Quality Assurance associates during vacation and in the event of illness. Maintain laboratory specification and procedure books. Conduct specified process evaluations to determine equipment operating conditions, variability and control. Conduct monitoring, verifying, pre-shipment review of CCP’s throughout the plant. Assist in all aspects of Quality Systems development and in program execution and enhancement Multiple QA employees are trained to perform the QA technician duties. In the event of an absence of a scheduled QA Technician another trained QA associate or QA lead will cover the duties and responsibilities of the QA technician.
