Position OverviewThe Clinical Manager provides leadership, oversight, and clinical guidance to Clinical Supervisors and nursing staff to ensure high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care. This role supports, educates, and evaluates clinical teams while collaborating with operational partners to ensure appropriate staffing, effective care delivery, and positive patient outcomes.The Clinical Manager plays a key role in driving clinical excellence, staff engagement, and regulatory compliance, and serves as the clinical lead in the absence of the Clinical Director. The position is added based on location size and patient volume and requires approval from regional leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct supervision, coaching, and support to Clinical Supervisors and clinical staffAssign patients to Clinical Supervisors to ensure efficient care delivery and appropriate workload distributionSupport patient care coordination from admission through discharge, including assessments and goal-directed care plansEducate staff on professional standards, state regulations, accreditation requirements (CHAP), and company policiesMonitor staffing levels and collaborate with operations to ensure adequate coverageConduct on-site supervisory visits and complete required documentationReview referrals and provide admission recommendations as directedAnalyze clinical data to identify opportunities to improve outcomes and reduce riskCommunicate clinical updates to external case managers and obtain care authorizationsPromote patient, family, and internal customer satisfactionParticipate in hiring, training, evaluation, and retention initiativesServe in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours needs as requiredAct as the clinical lead in the absence of the Clinical DirectorQualificationsRequired:Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited RN programActive RN license in applicable state(s)Relevant clinical experience in accordance with state and federal regulationsValid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle recordPreferred:Two (2) years of experience as a Clinical SupervisorExperience administering or supporting a private duty or home care programSkills & CompetenciesStrong clinical leadership and supervisory skillsCommitment to quality, safety, and regulatory complianceExcellent organization, communication, and time management abilitiesSound clinical judgment and decision-making skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situationsStrong attention to detail and ethical practice standardsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsAbility to travel between patient homes and work environmentsCapacity to lift up to 40 pounds and assist with patient mobility as neededAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb stairsExposure to varying environments, including potential allergens and infectious diseasesAdditional InformationThis description reflects the general nature of the role and may evolve based on organizational needs.Vaccination RequirementEmployees must comply with applicable health and vaccination requirements in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, with exemptions considered as appropriate.As an employer accepting Medicare and Medicaid funds, employees must comply with all health-related requirements in all relevant jurisdictions, including required vaccinations and testing, subject to exemptions for medical or religious reasons as appropriate.Notice for Job Applicants Residing in CaliforniaNotice for Job Applicants Residing in Florida
