Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. Requirements: • Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: RN’s do need to be able to read & interpret strips. Preferred Credentials: ONS/ONCC. Unit and facility details: General MedSurg patients, some Post-Ops: lap chole, lap appy - no post-op ortho, some oncology patients w/ complications (neutropenic precautions, pneumonia, infections, etc), perm nurses will administer chemo, lots of chest tubes, malignant patients often go home with Pleurex chest tubes, so experience with these is a huge plus. Occasional psych patients who may be 1:1 with a sitter. Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed. Shift & Scheduling: Every-other-weekend. Sat/Sun for both Days/Nights. Work in the holiday rotation schedule with perm staff. Floating Requirements: Any MedSurg/Tele. Other Requirements: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
