Dental Treatment CoordinatorPosition SummaryThe Dental Treatment Coordinator plays a critical role in a large family dental practice by guiding patients through their recommended treatment plans. This position bridges the clinical and administrative teams, ensuring patients understand their dental needs, feel confident moving forward with care, and have a smooth financial and scheduling experience.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Communication & EducationReview and explain treatment plans clearly and compassionately to patients Answer questions regarding procedures, timelines, and expected outcomesBuild trust and rapport with patientsCase AcceptancePresent treatment plans in a way that encourages understanding and acceptanceAddress patient concerns, objections, and financial questions professionallyTrack and follow up on unscheduled or pending treatment plansFinancial CoordinationVerify insurance benefits and explain coverage, estimates, and limitationsPresent financial options, including payment plans and third-party financingCollect payments and ensure financial agreements are completed accuratelyScheduling & CoordinationCoordinate treatment scheduling with providers Ensure appointments align with treatment sequencing and provider availabilityQualifications & SkillsRequiredPrevious experience in a dental office (clinical or administrative)Strong understanding of dental procedures and terminologyKnowledge of dental insurance and billing processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsComfort discussing finances with patientsStrong organizational and follow-up skillsPreferredExperience as a Treatment Coordinator in a multi-provider or high-volume practiceFamiliarity with practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.)Work EnvironmentFast-paced, high-volume family dental practiceCollaborative team-oriented settingRegular interaction with patients of all agesPlease send resumes with a short cover letter to heidi@Benefits:Dental, PTO, BonusesCompensation:$25-$28/hour
