Our team is committed to delivering high-quality ultrasound imaging while providing compassionate, exceptional care to every patient we serve.What We’re Looking ForEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredARDMS or ARRT registry requiredIf not currently registered, must be registry-eligible and complete registration within 12 months of hireExperienceOne year of experience in sonography preferredLicensure / CertificationARRT (S) or ARDMS certified or board eligible requiredARDMS certification required within the first year of employmentAdditional Required SkillsAbility to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testingStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in diagnostic roomsWorking knowledge of various types of ultrasound equipmentAbility to adapt to new technologies, situations, and procedures based on patient age and clinical needsDemonstrated ability to interpret information to identify and meet each patient’s specific care requirementsBasic computer skills What We're Looking For: Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.  Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography or Sonography Program; or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program, required.Experience: Minimum of one year of OB experience, preferred.Licensure/Certification/Registration (required): RDMS, OBAdditional Skills/Requirements (required):Must have current BLS certification upon hire and maintain throughout employment as required by departmentMust maintain ARDMS certificationExcellent communication skills requiredWorking knowledge of various ultrasound devicesMust have ability to independently obtain high quality images needed to assist MFM physician with diagnosisPerform high-level sterilization according to Clinical Compliance standards following each examAbility to successfully complete departmental and organizational skills validation and competencies as requiredAdditional Skills/Requirements (preferred):Able to perform independently to obtain high quality images and advanced Doppler techniquesAble to assist MFM physician with complex proceduresAbility to put patient at ease during ultrasound(s) and procedure(s)Reconciles patient's medical and prenatal history, current medications, medication allergies etc.Demonstrate willingness to be flexible as needed to accomplish departmental needs and goals
