EFDA - Full-Time/Part-TimeWe are seeking a friendly, reliable, and skilled EFDA to join our team and help create a welcoming, efficient, and patient-focused dental experience.What You’ll DoGreet and welcome patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informedPrepare treatment rooms and patients for dental proceduresSet up and break down instruments, materials, and equipment for proceduresSterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols meticulouslyProvide chairside assistance to the dentist (4-handed dentistry)Perform lab-related tasks as directedDeliver oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care guidanceKeep operatories clean, stocked, and organizedSchedule patient appointments and manage the daily schedule efficientlyMaintain accurate patient records and assist with insurance/payment proceduresSupport front office duties when neededWhat We’re Looking ForExperience: Prior dental assisting experience required; EFDA certification is a plusClinical Skills: Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization procedures, and 4-handed dentistryEFDAs: Ability to place restorations, take final impressions, and perform expanded clinical duties per state guidelinesSoftware & Tech: Familiarity with dental practice software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, etc.); CEREC experience is a mustAdministrative: Comfortable with scheduling, insurance processing, and basic billing tasksSoft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a professional, patient-first attitudeCertifications: Radiology certification required; coronal polishing certification is a plusEducation: High school diploma and completion of Dental Assisting Program is requiredWhy Join Us?Supportive and team-oriented environmentOpportunity to grow and refine both clinical and administrative skillsMake a meaningful impact in patients' health and comfort every dayNote: We are hiring an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA).
