Bright White Dental of Fresh Meadows is a busy dental office seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. This is a great position for experienced Dental Assistants looking to work FULL TIME. The hours are:Sunday 10-5Monday & Wednesday 10-7Tuesday & Thursday 11-7The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and proficiency in Dentrix, iTero, Dandy etc.. If you're passionate about dentistry and patient care, we’d love to meet you!Responsibilities:Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, extractions, etc.)Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipmentDisinfect and maintain operatories, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.Take X-raysProvide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment careAssist with the management of patient flowManage supplies and inventory when neededMaintain infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations.Utilize dental software such as DentrixOperate 3D scanners for imaging as needed.Qualifications:1 year Dental Assisting RequiredKnowledge of dental procedures and terminologyPositive attitude, team-oriented, and a compassionate approach with patientsStrong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Benefits:BonusesCompensation:$18-$25/hour
