Join ProAmpac's manufacturing team as a Continuous Improvement Intern and help drive real cost savings and process efficiency improvements tied directly to our site’s 2026 operational goals. This role offers hands-on experience in process improvement, data analysis, and project execution. Working closely with engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams, the intern will help analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, track project progress, and communicate results. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented student who wants practical experience applying data analysis, problem-solving tools, and project management skills in a manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do Support cost savings and efficiency projects, including scrap reduction, throughput improvement, and new process development Identify and help lead quick-win improvement opportunities (e.g., 5S initiatives, supplier cost savings) Assist with project management by tracking action items, timelines, and deliverables Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and time studies Analyze data and prepare reports to track and communicate project progress and effectiveness Collaborate with a wide range of personnel across manufacturing and engineering teams What We’re Looking For Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Interest or experience in process improvement, problem solving, and data analysis Preferred Qualifications Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field Other engineering disciplines with a strong interest in continuous improvement and data-driven problem solving are encouraged to apply Exposure (academic or practical) to continuous improvement or data analysis tools is a plus Compensation & Benefits The hourly pay range for this position is $20 – $25 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on education, skills, and experience.
