Hourly Range: $18.27 - $21.63 The Sr. Subrogation Processor plays a vital role in supporting the subrogation team by handling key administrative tasks that enhance the efficiency of the claims recovery process. This role ensures the accuracy and consistency of records across multiple systems while facilitating seamless communication with clients, insured parties, and other stakeholders—ultimately contributing to successful claim recoveries. *Candidates within 60 miles of our office at 1310 Martin Luther King Dr. Bloomington, IL 61701 will be considered for an on-site position.* Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Pulling documentation from client systems & reporting claims to other insurance carriers. Process incoming and outgoing mail, including handling legal releases and correspondence. Complete claim forms for cases involving rental agencies, municipalities, and other third parties. Respond professionally and promptly to phone calls and emails from clients, insureds, and other stakeholders. Create and send Subrogation demand packages to other insurance carriers. Review files using a diary system to ensure timely handling of correspondence and updates. Close files in E-Subro Hub once they are closed in internal systems to maintain consistency. Assist subrogation teams with daily tasks to ensure efficient and timely recovery operations. Minimum Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred. Prior administrative experience, especially in insurance or legal industries, is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with claims systems like E-Subro Hub is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to type 30 WPM. Ability to prioritize and multitask with excellent attention to detail. Negotiation and analytical skills are a plus. Basic knowledge of subrogation processes or legal principles is a plus. Why Afni?
