This position will be full-time and onsite with flexible working hours: 8 am - 4 pm or 9 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday, located in Milpitas, CA.What You’ll DoResearch, organize, write, edit, and produce documentationOrganize material and write descriptive copy according to standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminologyPlan, prioritize, and manage multiple engineering projects to ensure team resources are used effectively and project deadlines are metEvaluate and authorize changes that impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a projectWork directly with customers to understand needs, gather requirements, and assess project risksCreate, develop, plan, write, and edit operational, instructional, maintenance, or test procedures for paper, multimedia, or web-based publication, for both non-technical and technical usersWhat You'll NeedRequired:Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Job Level 3, 4, or 5)Knowledge of how to work efficiently with Styles, Tables, and automatically generated tables of contentProficiency with Adobe Acrobat Reader or similar PDF writing softwareExperience with procedures, forms, and instructions.Experience with quality or environmental management systemsPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorMust be able to communicate with customers and team members over the phone and in personSedentary work involving sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.CAI is committed to equal employment opportunity. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
