We are a well-established dental practice seeking an energetic, personable, and dedicated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our team. You will perform a full range of expanded clinical duties while providing outstanding customer service to our diverse patient base.Key Responsibilities:Perform all expanded functions clinical procedures (e.g., placements, restorations, sealants, coronal polishing, and other delegated duties as permitted by state regulations)Assist chairside during examinations and treatmentsTake and develop dental X-raysSterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocolsEducate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment careManage patient flow and support administrative tasks as neededSchedule:Full-time is 28 to 32 hrs: Monday through Thursday1–2 Fridays per monthIdeal Candidate Qualities:Extremely personable and energetic with a positive attitudeStrong team player who collaborates effectivelyHighly organized and detail-orientedCommitted to exceptional customer serviceExcellent communication skillsBilingual in English & SpanishRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalentCurrent X-Ray CertificationExpanded Duties/Functions Certification (EFDA or equivalent)Fluent in EnglishCompensation & Benefits:Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications)Benefits:Dental, 401kCompensation:$18-$25/hour
