You will be responsible for managing patient care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for your patients. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Med Surg, oncology, and neurology unitsAdminister medications such as heparin, cardizem, and amiodaroneUtilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and patient managementFloat between Med Surg and Stepdown units as neededMaintain patient ratios of 1:5 during days/evenings and 1:6 at nightsEnsure proficiency in caring for neurology and oncology patientsAdhere to dress code: navy or black tops and bottoms, solidsRequirements: Minimum of 12 months Med Surg care experience18 months nursing experience in a hospital/medical center settingExperience with EPIC EMRNIH Stroke Scale certificate (highly preferred, can obtain during onboarding)Current Iowa RN license and Nursys verificationAmerican Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certificationProfessional references from within the last 24 months (preferred)Apply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
