MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Liaison Officer to join our MCWL team at the U.S. Marine Forces Pacific Headquarters, Camp Smith, Hawaii. While serving as the direct representative of the Commanding General, MCWL, the critical function of this role is to build and maintain deep, functional relationships with the specific MCWL divisions responsible for delivering new capabilities. The LNO will be the key conduit ensuring theatre requirements are connected to the teams responsible for technology development, prototyping, wargaming, and experimentation. This is a senior-level, long-term strategic role for a forward-thinking planner capable of operating at the highest levels of command.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Serve as the primary liaison between MCWL, MARFORPAC, and INDOPACOM for all experimentation matters, including wargaming, Science & Technology (S&T) initiatives, and live-force experimentation.Act as the primary conduit to MCWL's internal divisions, including the Science & Technology (S&T) Division and others responsible for wargaming, modeling & simulation, and experimentation.Facilitate the fielding of prototypes by developing safe and efficient implementation plans in direct coordination with MCWL's subject matter experts (SMEs).Deconflict and prioritize requests from MARFORPAC and I/III Marine Expeditionary Forces (MEF) for the use of MCWL technologies.Assist the MCWL spectrum manager in tracking and gaining approval for spectrum requests to support technology and prototype testing in the AOR.Integrate and align the efforts of the MCWL LNOs at I and III MEF to ensure a cohesive approach to concept and technology development.Maintain situational awareness of significant changes to operational plans (OPLANs) and notify MCWL of potential impacts on experimentation priorities.Assist the MARFORPAC staff with initial coordination for all MCWL-supported efforts, including modeling, simulations, demonstrations, and user evaluationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree and at least 5 years of experience operating in a joint, multi-service environment and a strong background in high-level staff and/or command roles. Additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.Must possess a deep understanding of Marine Corps operations, force development, and the INDOPACOM area of operations.Exceptional executive-level communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build effective working relationships with both senior leaders and technical/functional experts.Strong negotiation and coordination abilities to deconflict priorities among multiple senior commandsPreferred Qualifications:The ideal candidate is a retired senior military officer (O-6 level) with a strong background in high-level staff and/or command rolesClearance Requirements:This role requires an active DoD TS/SCI Clearance and eligibility for Special Access Program (SAP) access is required.Physical Requirements:Sedentary work
