Our client, a leader in aerospace manufacturing and engineering, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Materials Engineer to join their team in Tempe, AZ. As a vital member of the Materials Engineering team, you will bring your expertise and passion for innovation to support the development and manufacturing of high-performance cast and forged aerospace components. Your ability to collaborate effectively, solve complex problems, and uphold industry standards will be key to your success and growth within the organization. Job Title: Materials Engineer Location: Tempe, AZ Pay Range: $51.40 Hourly What's the Job? Provide technical expertise in materials and process engineering for cast and/or forged aerospace products. Support the design, development, and manufacturing of aerospace gas turbine engine components. Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to resolve material and process issues efficiently. Participate in all phases of product development, including supplier audits and process improvements. Act as a technical point of contact for less experienced engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and mentorship. What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree in STEM fields such as Materials Science, Metallurgy, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering. 4+ years of experience in materials/process engineering within the casting and/or forging industry. Hands-on experience with aluminum, steel, titanium, and nickel aerospace alloys. Familiarity with industry standards such as Nadcap and aerospace material specifications. Ability to troubleshoot material and process issues and develop technical solutions rapidly. What's in it for me?
