Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months. • ASN completion required Requirements: • Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast. • 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast. • 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: • Trach chare, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucommander, insulin drips, heparin drips, drips to titrate Heart Rate but not Blood Pressure • Strong clinical assessment and med-surg nursing skills for Level 1 Trauma Hospital • IV insertion and care, central line management • Wound care and post op monitoring • Cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation • Care coordination with interdisciplinary teams • Discharge planning and patient education management Required Credentials: • BCR (Basic Cardiac Rythm) required – meaning traveler will be required to pass an EKG competency exam as part of Compliance • ASN/BSN Preferred Credentials: National certification - Medical-Surgical certification Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Have free parking around campus or can pay to park in parking decks.
