Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience. • Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months. • Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months Requirements: • Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted. • No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Cook County. Labs must be completed within 48 hours of accepting an offer. Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend/ 2 weekends per month required. Floating Requirements: This is a mandatory float facility. All resources are required to float at the facility’s discretion to a variety of units, including outside of their primary area of competency. Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg. - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, nasal cannula, non‑invasive airway management, oxygen administration, Med/Surg work setting, peripheral line care and management, and isolation precautions/PPE. Preferred Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care and management. Special Requests: RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
