Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience within the past 3 months. • Travel experience is preferred from any number of months. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry Interpretation; Telemetry monitoring. IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Starting and maintaining IVs, Oncology, Respiratory, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response (Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias), Professional Knowledge and Skills (Isolation Precautions/PPE). Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of current specialty experience for a clinical pass. Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience. Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of chemotherapy, Tracheostomy care/management. Shift & Scheduling: Weekends - variable based on unit needs; No set/blocked scheduling. D/N or Nights. If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for nights or a mix of shifts based on department priorities. Shift assignments are assessed every 4-week scheduling period. Floating Requirements: Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units. Special Requests: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. RTO required with submission. Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Can not apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
