As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine mobile and on-foot patrols across the location, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and calls for service with clear communication and professionalism. Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities while maintaining proper armed post readiness in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation when appropriate and timely notification of site contacts and/or public responders. Control access at designated entry points by monitoring visitors, vehicles, and deliveries, verifying authorization, and/or directing individuals according to site procedures. Complete detailed, accurate reports and logs regarding patrol activity, incidents, and other security-related observations, and communicate key information to oncoming personnel and site management.Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Have an armed guard card and/or license. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
