Job InfoJob Location: Chicago, IllinoisRoute Type: LocalType of Assignment: FlexTransmission Type: AutomaticJob RequirementsExperience: 1+ yearHandling: Heavy TouchAdditional InformationTransForce is seeking a NON CDL Driver to support local operations based in Chicago IL,. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.   Driver Details Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 9am -5pm Pay: $21 hourly, $740 - $840 Estimated weekly pay Route Type: Local, City & suburbs Freight / Load Type: Cases of craft cocktail Ice 15-25lbs each Performing dolly deliveries to bars, restaurants and event centers, driver will need to partner with an employee on where the ice needs to be placed (freezer).  Equipment: Ford Van with a reefer unit (City Deliveries) and a Ryder Box Truck (Suburban deliveries) Handling: Dolly  Driver Minimum Requirements:   License: Non CDL Experience: 1+ verifiable driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements   Driver Responsibilities:   Safely operated equipment on local routes Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards Perform required handling tasks Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations Meet the physical demands of the role Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) Referral program     Why Work With TransForce?  Join TransForce and see why our drivers are proud to be on the TransForce team.
