Diesel Mechanic (PM Shift: 2 PM – 2 AM | $25–$32/hr)We are looking for a high‑energy Diesel Mechanic to join our team on the PM shift (2:00 PM – 2:00 AM).Pay Range: $25–$32 per hour, depending on experience.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance servicesInspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systemsUse electronic diagnostic systems to interpret failure codes and determine repairsComplete all required documentation using fleet maintenance software (repairs, parts usage, labor time)Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection ReportsConduct safety checks on vehicles and equipmentPerform service calls for emergency breakdownsMaintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and corporate standardsSchedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays as neededShift: 2 PM – 2 AM (PM Shift)Minimum RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience directly related to diesel repair dutiesMust provide own personal toolsWelding/fabrication experience is a significant plusBenefitsWe offer excellent benefits, including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible spending accountLong‑term disabilityLife insurance401(k) retirement plan#ACMaintenanceWaste Connections is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer (Minorities/Female/Disabled/Veterans).
