The General Maintenance completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.   Compensation: $23.06. Military Occupational Specialty Code: 91E, 91C, EM, HT, MK, DC, 1161, 1341, 3E1X1 · Work directly with our clients, engineering leadership, and vendors to keep the building operational. · Perform ongoing facility maintenance and complete repairs on various equipment. · Perform minor repairs to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP’s) equipment. · Ensure client satisfaction.   MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Proficient in Basic General Maintenance Duties · Solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks. · Complete assigned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs. · Use the CMMS program in support of work performance. Foster a work environment that promotes energy conservation and continuous improvement of engineering functions. · Perform basic routine MEP repairs · Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall, and wood trim repair · Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. · Assists in emergencies as needed. · Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition.Required: • Must be 18 years of age or older  • No experience required and on the job training provided  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required Preferred: • 1 to 3 year of similar work experience and or trade school.  Strong customer service orientation, and organizational/analytical skills. · Ability to work extended periods of time without relief, when responding to priorities/emergencies.
