Overview: Substitue Dental Hygienist (PRN / Fill-In Role – Accelerated Placement) We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Substitute Dental Hygienist to support our Ohio market. We are focused on providing comprehensive, ethical care while creating an environment where hygienists can thrive professionally and financially.   Collaborative Hygiene Workflow  We use a structured team-based model designed to support, not rush, the hygienist. Dedicated hygiene assistant assigned to you Delegation of x-rays, room turnover, instrument processing, polishing and fluoride Standard one-hour appointments for most procedures Extended time allowed for periodontal procedures as needed.    Responsibilities: Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polishing, restorations, and application of preventive agents such as fluoride and sealants.Accurately chart a review of patient dental history and update as necessary, patient's periodontal health, record provided treatment, and handle patient records securely and in compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide assistance as directed by the dentistAdminister local anesthetics, if allowed by dental practice act What Makes Our Office Different Strong clinical leadership presenceEstablished patient baseExperienced doctors and tenured teamsGrowing investment in technology, including AI integrationEmphasis on patient experience and long-term relationships Our focus is on creating a collaborative, clinically driven environment where hygienists feel respected, supported, and appropriately compensated.
