Responsibilities: The Genetic Counselor provides genetic counseling, test coordination, and follow-up for patients. The incumbent supports referring providers & clinical team, provides genetics education and outreach, and engages in genetics program activities. Qualifications: EducationMaster's Degree Genetic Counseling or equivalent program from an ABGC or ABMG accredited training program Required Work Experience1 year Genetic counseling experience Required Work experience in job specific field Preferred Experience with Epic and Progeny software Preferred Licenses and CertificationsABGC - American Board of Genetic Counseling Board Certified in Genetic Counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counseling Upon Hire Required and Genetic Counselor License for the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required Business Unit : Company Name: Piedmont Heart Institute - NFP
