This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, improving processes, and working with cutting‑edge automation and controls technology. You’ll partner closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to keep production moving and continuously improve performance.What You’ll DoIn this role, you’ll support, maintain, and improve automated systems across the facility, including PLCs, robotics, sensors, vision systems, and industrial networks.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair automated manufacturing and material handling equipmentPerform preventive and predictive maintenance on automation, electrical, and control systemsTroubleshoot PLCs (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or similar), HMI panels, and VFDsSupport robotic systems (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or similar), including setup and recoveryRead and interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical documentationIdentify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actionsSupport new equipment installations, upgrades, and system modificationsMaintain safety standards when working with high‑voltage and automated systemsCollaborate with Engineering and Operations to improve reliability, throughput, and uptimeDocument repairs, system changes, and preventive maintenance activities in the CMMSWhat We’re Looking ForYou bring strong technical skills, curiosity, and a problem‑solving mindset.Required Qualifications2+ years of experience supporting automated or industrial equipmentStrong understanding of electrical and control systemsExperience troubleshooting PLC‑controlled equipmentAbility to read electrical schematics and ladder logicComfortable working in a fast‑paced, industrial or distribution environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional teamPreferred QualificationsAssociate degree or technical certification in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Industrial TechnologyExperience with robotics, servo systems, and vision systemsKnowledge of industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, DeviceNet, etc.)Familiarity with CMMS and preventive maintenance programsManufacturing or high‑speed distribution environment experiencePhysical & Work EnvironmentAbility to stand, walk, and work on equipment for extended periodsLift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodationWork safely around moving machinery, electrical systems, and elevated platformsFlexibility to work overtime, weekends, or on‑call as neededWhat We OfferCompetitive pay with shift differentials and overtime opportunitiesComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k)Paid time off and holidaysOngoing technical training and developmentOpportunities for career growth into senior technician or engineering rolesA collaborative team environment focused on safety and innovationAnticipated Weekly Hours40Time TypeFull timePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$21.10 - $40.90This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  Our people fuel our future.
