This position will be for the spring semester with the possibility of full-time employment upon graduation. Under the guidance of a full-time JCI employee, the intern will be expected to perform HVAC design, create, and review submittals, review and create programming using CCT and SCT, and perform general technical work in the district. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below. #InternshipsHow you will do it:Keep management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issuesComplete administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentationDocument changes and provide information for as-built documentation.Become familiar with CCT and SCTBe able to perform QA/QC on submittals and programming received from GCOE India Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safetyWhat we look forRequired Qualifications:Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college, technical school, or universityPursuing a degree in HVAC or other technical degreeCurrently a sophomore or higher statusKnowledgeable in the use of personal computers and the appropriate applications, including Excel, Word, AutoCAD, and PowerPointU.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipHave strong communication skills and the ability to work within a teamEnergetic and driven attitude - you do what it takes to get the task completedGood organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to pass a background and drug screeningCompensation Range: $18-22 per hour
