Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 12 months. • Travel experience is preferred. • Experience with Cerner is required. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of MS, PCU, ICU experience. Must have experience in setting within the last 1 year. Must have drip experience. Neuro-focused patient population including strokes, seizures, Guillain-Barre, myasthenia gravis, spinal injuries, thrombectomies, TNK/TPA 24 hours post, endovascular patients, altered mental status, and dementia. Trauma/ortho injuries include hematomas and bleeds, falls on thinners, and farm and MVA accidents. RNs titrate drips including heparin, nitro, diltiazem, amiodarone, 3%, and insulin. Preferred Skills/Experience: Home trach/vent experience is highly preferred. Vent experience can be trained, but the RN must be open to learning. Shift & Scheduling: Self scheduling, manager to balance, opens 6 weeks in advance. Cannot guarantee same shifts for travel duos. Every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Typically 2/3 holidays for winter, and otherwise every other. No call.
