Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Traveling Food Service Director to join the Aramark Healthcare+ West Region, providing hands?on leadership and operational support across acute care accounts throughout the region.The Traveling Food Service Director is a management position responsible for developing and executing dining solutions to meet customer needs and tastes. This role requires 100% travel and provides on?site leadership for vacant, transitioning, or challenged operations, often serving as the most senior leader at the account. Oversees and manages dining operations where customers order prepared foods from a menu.Compensation & BenefitsCompensation: The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $95,000. Responsible for components accounting functions.Ensures that requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety levels in respective areas are metCoordinates and supervises unit personnel regarding production, merchandising, quality and cost control, labor management and employee trainingRecruits, hires, develops and retains frontline team members.Conducts period inventoryMaintains records to comply with ARAMARK, government and accrediting agency standardsInteracts with Client Management and maintains effective client and customer relations at all levels with client organizationMay participate in sales process and negotiation of contractsLooks for opportunities to implement new products and services which support sales growth and client retentionAdditional ResponsibilitiesManage the front of the house of the dining operation (Cafeteria/ Residential Dining Facility)Develop and implement food service plans aligned with the client's mission and vision, to include sustainable practicesTravel extensively across the West Region with flexibility regarding assignment length and locationAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers.
