Richmond Center is hiring a Recreation Therapist (CTRS) in Staten Island, NY.We are seeking a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) to join our dynamic team in the Neuro Behavioral Unit. This role is ideal for a compassionate, creative professional who is passionate about enhancing quality of life through structured and meaningful recreational programming.We now offer Daily Pay through a trusted third-party provider giving you faster access to your earnings!DUTIES:Develop and implement group and individual recreational activities tailored to residents’ needs, interests, and cognitive levelsFacilitate leisure, educational, theme-based, and cognitively stimulating activitiesAssess and evaluate residents’ participation and progressMaintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Department of Health regulationsCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident goalsMaintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive therapeutic environmentKnowledge of Point Click Care (PCC) is a plusREQUIREMENTS:Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)Experience working with behavioral health or neuro populations preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCreativity, flexibility, and ability to motivate residentsMust be organized, detail-oriented, and a team playerAbout us:Richmond Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is a 372-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in the borough of Staten Island.
