You will collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to establish and implement care plans that prioritize safety and optimal health outcomes. Your role will include patient advocacy, education, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. Provide direct patient care and monitor responses during labor, delivery, and postpartum phasesPromote wellness and provide education to mothers about infant care and breastfeedingDocument all events and education in the patient medical recordCommunicate patient conditions to physicians and nursing supervisorsCollaborate with nursery nurses and assist physicians with proceduresMaintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment in the Family Birthing CenterRequirements: Maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of ColoradoBLS & NRP certifications required; ACLS certification preferredMinimum of an Associate's Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing programNeed 2 years experience in settingApply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
