Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Experience: • 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience. • Experience with Cerner is required. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL. • 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL. Additional Details: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Required Skills/Experience: - Med/Surg work setting experience. - Cardiac monitoring and emergency response: telemetry remote monitoring, use of rapid response teams. - Gastrointestinal: colostomy care, feeding tube care and management. - IV therapy/phlebotomy: accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs. - Medication experience: heparin, insulin, PCA. - Neurological/psychiatric: CVA, pre/post neuro surgery, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury. - Experience with surgical drains. - Respiratory: chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac), CPAP/BiPAP, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oral suctioning, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, pre/post thoracic surgery, tracheostomy management. - Isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac. - Continuous bladder irrigation experience. Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience. - Previous Charge Experience Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. 5 days maximum time off.
