Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, compassionately prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce detailed images of the heart for interpretation by healthcare teams. Minimum Requirements: ARDMS (RDS) or CCI (RDCS) cardiac sonography certification preferred. Candidates holding equivalent national cardiac ultrasound credentials will be considered.Minimum 2 years of acute care echocardiography experience required. Experience performing inpatient and outpatient echos, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and pediatric scans required.BLS certification required.Experience with Philips and GE cardiovascular ultrasound systems and PACS workflows (Philips/IntelliSpace) preferred.Ability to assist with procedures such as pericardiocentesis and to obtain accurate ejection fraction measurements.Comfort performing pediatric scans is a hard requirement.Willingness to provide preliminary findings in a modifiable report for physician review.Preferred: stress test and fetal scan experience. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital - Noninvasive Cardiology unit.Shift: Days.Shift hours: 0800-1800 (10-hour days listed as 0800-1830 in scheduling notes; primary operational hours 0800-1800).Typical schedule: Modified self-schedule with cycles made in 6-week increments; manager approval required for requests.On call: Yes. One night call shift per week with end of shift (EOS) until 0700 the following morning. Callbacks require cardiologist approval. Holiday call may apply for major holidays per contract.Weekend rotation: Not required at this time.Orientation: Unit and facility orientation provided, including buddy call and remainder of first week orientation.Unit census and volume: Department manages high volume; average throughput reported at approximately 40–60 patients per day across 2 echo suites and 2 TEE rooms, plus bedside inpatient exams.Parking: Free.
