Our client, a leading healthcare provider specializing in oral surgery, is seeking a dedicated Patient Services Representative- Oral surgery to join their team. As a Patient Services Representative- Oral surgery, you will be an essential part of the patient care team supporting the front desk and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient interactions, which will align successfully in the organization. Patient Services Representative- Oral Surgery (Contract) Pay $27-32 hr Duration 3 months + Start-as soon as medically cleared Location NY,NY 10003. What's the Job? Provide the first level of customer service to patients, including greeting, routing, and assisting with inquiries. Maintain accurate patient records and appointment schedules, ensuring smooth daily operations. Monitor clinic activities, assign tasks, and oversee the work of student and casual employees. Handle emergency triage and coordinate follow-up examinations and cancellations. Process health-related transactions, calculate payments, and update files and records efficiently. What's Needed? Previous experience in a healthcare or dental office setting, particularly in oral surgery preferred. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
