Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.What You'll Be DoingOperate and monitor bulk cement terminal equipment, including railcar unloading systems and material transfer equipmentTroubleshoot and perform hands-on maintenance to keep equipment running and minimize downtimeLoad and unload cement from railcars and trucks while ensuring efficient and safe material flowInspect equipment, identify issues, and complete basic mechanical repairs using tools and diagnostic skillsEnsure accuracy of orders, documentation, and inventory recordsWhat Are We Looking ForExperience in industrial, mechanical, rail, construction, or heavy equipment environments (not just warehouse)Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools for troubleshooting and basic repairsExperience operating or working around heavy equipment, conveyors, or bulk material systemsAbility to work independently and take ownership of equipment and daily operationsBasic knowledge of safety protocols and proceduresWork EnvironmentThis role is based in an outdoor/industrial terminal environment and involves working around heavy equipment, moving materials, and varying weather conditions.
