Growing together. The Hospital Registration Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department, including staff supervision, issue resolution, individual productivity and acting as a technical resource. Provides ongoing support and developmental guidance by analyzing performance metrics, providing performance feedback and conducting training and other educational opportunities. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations such as HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid and billing standards. (This role may be responsible for oversight of a unioncontracted site)Location: Mercy Hospital 4050 Coon Rapids Blvd, Coon Rapids, MN 55433Primary Responsibilities:Coordinates the day-to-day support for staff and departmentAddresses staff turnover, education and trainingProvides feedback to employees through formal and informal coachingManages performance issues and reviews. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructiveAssess training needs and conduct training or other educational opportunitiesAnalyzes performance metrics to locate and resolve trends and issuesMonitors and reports on staff quality and productivity by completing monthly auditsInterview, hire and mentor new staff to achieve peak performanceManages timekeeping and attendanceActs as technical resource for staff and patientsProactively identify, address and resolve issues and concernsCompletes monthly 1:1's and Rounding's to maintain consistent engagement with employeesOversees and guides the work of employees. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operationsWorks with the manager to provide program and staff development as identifiedCollaborate with the manager to establish policies and proceduresOrganize and produce effective in person staff meetings throughout the yearExecutes and implement approved budgets and financialsMay be responsible for communicating developed budgets and managing the developed budgetOther duties as assignedYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:3+ years of revenue cycle experienceIntermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productsAbility to occasionally travel to other local sites for in-person leadership meetingsAbility to occasionally work outside standard daytime hours, per business needAccess to reliable transportation & valid US driver's licenseMust be 18 years of age or olderPreferred Qualifications:2+ years of supervisory experience Physical Demands: Lifting weight up to 20 lbs Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment.
