A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Sault Sainte Marie, MI, within an elementary school setting. This contract role for the current school year (CSY) offers the opportunity to support a diverse caseload of young learners across two schools.The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade.Manage a caseload of approximately 49 students, split between two schools.Tailor therapy approaches to meet individual student needs, focusing on early childhood through middle elementary age groups.Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress.Deliver services in-person, with potential integration of teletherapy sessions as appropriate.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with educational and healthcare standards.Qualifications and Experience:Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC-SLP) required.Experience working in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings.Familiarity with teletherapy delivery methods.Strong organizational skills to manage a split caseload effectively.Ability to work with children from kindergarten through 8th grade.Completion or current status in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted.Position Details:Location: Sault Sainte Marie, MI.Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.Caseload: 49 students divided between two schools; one serving kindergarten to 1st grade and another serving kindergarten through 8th grade.Start Date: September 2nd, with flexibility available based on candidate availability.This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in an educational environment while supporting early childhood and elementary students speech and language development.
