Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to serve high school students in both a resource setting and a life skills/low incidence program. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals in both academic and functional areas Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet student needs Support students with low incidence disabilities in acquiring life skills for independence Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families Maintain compliance with special education laws, documentation, and timelines Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment Qualifications: Valid Kansas Teaching License with a Special Education Endorsement (required) Experience working with high school students in both academic and life skills settings preferred Strong understanding of instructional strategies for students with low incidence disabilities Effective communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
