*Job Overview: *Scroll down the page to see all associated job requirements, and any responsibilities successful candidates can expect.The Vulcan Burner Field Technician is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Vulcan Burner Systems in industrial and commercial settings, as well as repair and tuning of other manufacturer’s burners as needed. This role requires extensive travel to client sites to ensure proper functionality and adherence to safety standards. This person will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, and a commitment to safety and customer service.*Responsibilities and Duties** Follow and adhere to the Business Ethics and Code of Conduct of Reliable Asphalt Products, Inc.* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during burner installation activities. Follow established safety protocols, use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and identify potential safety hazards to prevent accidents or injuries.* Provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams regarding burner installation, commission, operation, and troubleshooting. Answer inquiries, diagnose equipment issues, and recommend solutions to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.* Maintain accurate records of burner installation activities, including equipment specifications, installation procedures, and service reports. Complete installation checklists, service tickets, and other documentation as required by company procedures and regulatory requirements.* Submit daily service report, time sheet, and expense reports (with receipts) as required.* Field incoming service calls from customers.* Calibrate and adjust burner controls for efficiency and compliance with safety standards* Provide technical support and training to customers and facility staff* Travel to customer sites as needed and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate project requirements. Must be available after hours (nights & weekends) to field emergency service calls.* Deliver outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with customers, addressing their questions and concerns, and providing timely updates to management on customer interactions. Strive to exceed customer expectations and build long-term relationships through professionalism and reliability.* Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to burner systems and installation techniques. Participate in training programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge as needed* Work closely with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and project management, to coordinate burner installation projects and ensure seamless execution. Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical challenges and improve processes for better efficiency and customer satisfaction.* Assist with quoting burner related service projects when required.* Assist with non-burner related service projects as directed.* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
