Job Description

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to two students within a K-12 educational setting in Johnson City, TN, on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. This part-time role involves delivering individualized ABA services as outlined in each students Individualized Education Program (IEP).All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Key Responsibilities:Deliver 3 hours of ABA therapy per student weekly, following the IEP goals.Provide ABA support within the students special education classrooms.Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate behavior strategies seamlessly.Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and therapeutic standards.Desired Qualifications:Current BCBA certification.Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred.Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based interventions.Ability to work effectively with children with special needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Location and Schedule:The role involves supporting students at two elementary schools located in Kingsport, TNAndrew Johnson Elementary and Thomas Jefferson Elementarywhich are situated just a few miles apart.
