We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide full-time services at a school system nearby the local area of Garyville, Louisianafor the 20252026 school year. The district will also offer this positionto experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates. This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, providing services to students in a supportive and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: Provide speech and language services to students in accordance with IEP goals. Conduct evaluations and assessments (SLP only). Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student communication needs. Maintain appropriate documentation and comply with state and district policies. Requirements for SLP (per Louisianaguidelines): Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Current Louisianalicense as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA oreven CFY candidates will be considered with appropriate supervision. Requirements for SLPA (per Louisianaguidelines): Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting, Communication Disorders, or a related field. Current LouisianaSpeech-Language Pathology Assistant license issued Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred. Must be comfortable working under the direct supervision of a licensed SLP-CCC.
