The ideal candidate is someone who loves the courtroom as you will regularly appear on the firm's behalf in courtrooms throughout Southern California (primarily Los Angeles and Orange County).Our firm's reputation has been built on aggressive advocacy with outstanding customer service. Helping people and making a difference motivates us and it should motivate you too.*Who You Are:*· Licensed California Attorney: You are a licensed attorney in California with 3 to 10 years of experience in family law or similar roles (e.g., Deputy DA, Deputy PD).· Courtroom Enthusiast: You love the courtroom and are ready to passionately argue cases.· Quick Thinker: You think on your feet, practice critical thought, and solve problems naturally.· Public Speaking Pro: You have a background in public speaking, debate, or theatre and can articulate your thoughts clearly and persuasively.· Empathetic & Resilient: You understand the high emotions in family law and can handle challenging situations with empathy and thick skin.· Team Player: You thrive in a team environment and are always ready to support your colleagues.· Organized & Detail-Oriented: You manage your time well, meet deadlines without sacrificing quality, and keep everything in order.· Tech-Savvy: You are proficient with Mac computers and Microsoft Office.*What You'll Do:*· Courtroom Appearances: Represent our firm in courtrooms throughout Southern California.· Legal Drafting & Research: Prepare legal documents and conduct thorough legal research.· Client Interaction: Meet with clients to discuss their cases and provide exceptional service.· Case Management: Handle case preparation and management from start to finish.· Networking: Represent the firm at networking events and local bar association meetings.*Compensation & Benefits:*· Competitive Salary· Benefits: Medical insurance, two weeks paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sabbatical leave, 401(k) plan with 5% match, tight-knit office culture and supportive work environment· Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm_Applicants must be able to work on-site at our Beverly Hills office; this position does not allow for remote work.
