The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, criminal defense law, and family law. This position requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents effectively. The Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys to provide exceptional legal services to our clients while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position IS open to recently licensed new attorneys.*Responsibilities** Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.* Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions.* Assist in litigation processes by preparing cases for trial and representing clients in court as needed.* Provide legal advice on matters related to estate planning, landlord-tenant law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, patent law, and tribal law & regulations.* Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in various legal matters.* Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.* Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the law office to enhance client service delivery.* Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may affect client cases.*Requirements** Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.* Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.* Strong knowledge of various areas of law including family law, environmental law, securities law, and litigation.* Proven negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes for clients.* Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation.* Prior experience in a legal administrative role is preferred but not mandatory.* Ability to conduct comprehensive legal research using industry-standard databases such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
