PMI has been the successful bidder on over 75 contracts and has a history of continuous profitable operations, consistent growth, and excellent service.PMI is seeking a Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning Mechanic, Hourly Rate: $20.00 plus Health & Welfare*Job Responsibilities*Work includes but is not limited to reading technical diagrams and blueprints; installation, operation, preventive maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including repair and replacement of items such as filters, motors, thermostats, belts, bearings, and blower fans. Connects motors, compressors, temperature controls, humidity controls, and circulating ventilation fans to control panels and connects control panels to power source. Tests joints and connections for gas leaks, using gauges or soap-and-water solution. Assesses drain problems and performs any needed repairs.*Job Qualifications*Must hold a state certification or Journeyman's license as an HVAC technician from any US State or Territory.Must have and maintain a current Type 1 & 2 Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certificationMust have minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience as an HVAC technician*Additional Preferred Skills*Ability to investigate problems and perform repairs on various mechanical and electrical equipment in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
