This is a rare opportunity for a new law school graduate"”or an early-career lawyer"”to step directly into *meaningful litigation* with strong mentorship, a clear growth path to partnership, and a chance to reshape how civil rights are protected and enforced in Nevada.*What You'll Do*As a Civil Rights Attorney, you'll work on high-stakes cases involving wrongful arrests, police misconduct, and violations of constitutional rights"”particularly around protest and First Amendment activity. You'll help clients who've suffered harm seek justice, while working toward systemic change.Your responsibilities will grow as your experience does and may include:* Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs* Interviewing clients and witnesses* Reviewing police reports and body cam footage* Taking and defending depositions* Negotiating with opposing counsel* Representing clients in court* Assisting with trial preparation and trial appearances* Helping to shape firm strategy for a new and rapidly expanding civil rights practiceYou'll be mentored by an experienced civil rights attorney and backed by a firm with a history of forcing systemic policy changes at the institutional level.*Who We're Looking For** *Bar admission in Nevada* (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)* A _genuine passion_ for civil rights, protester defense, and constitutional law* Self-motivated, energetic, and driven to grow a new practice area* Eager to develop professionally and take initiative on client work* Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills* Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to build client trust and rapport* Willingness to network and build your own client base over time_While the position is entry-level, we also welcome applications from more experienced attorneys with a demonstrated interest in civil rights._*What We Offer**Compensation:* Starting salary of *$80,000/year*, with discretionary *performance-based bonuses**Career Growth:* Clear path to *partnership in as little as 5 years**Benefits Include:** Health insurance (medical, dental, vision)* 401(k) with employer matching* Paid time off and holidays* Ongoing mentorship and trial experience* A collaborative, purpose-driven legal team*Why Join Us?*This is more than a job"”it's a chance to *fight for justice* and help build a legal practice that forces meaningful change.
