This position involves the setup and installation of temporary structural systems, the assembly of audiovisual scenery and displays, and the management of power/communications systems. You will also be expected to assist with various general labor tasks as needed.This is a hands-on role that demands a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. If you're passionate about bringing the holiday spirit to life and thrive in dynamic settings, we invite you to join us in creating these spectacular seasonal experiences.This role requires full availability from 11/7 through 11/23.*KEY COMPETENCIES & ATTRIBUTES: ** *Dependability:* Committed to the work schedule, consistently punctual, and reliable.* *Industry Knowledge:* Proficient in rigging, cable management, carpentry, use of hand and power tools, and other aspects of event and stage setup.* *Problem-Solving:* Capable of troubleshooting under pressure while adhering to company standards and policies.* *Safety Awareness:* Conscious of potential hazards and proactive in mitigating risks associated with job functions.* *Passionate & Proactive:* Driven by a strong work ethic, taking pride in your work and showing initiative to meet deadlines.* *Effective Communication:* Clear and concise in articulating ideas, ensuring smooth collaboration with the team.* *Attention to Detail:* Maintains a high level of detail and precision in all aspects of the role.* *Adaptable & Resilient:* Thrives in dynamic environments, quickly adapting to changing situations.*RESPONSIBILITIES: ** *Construct and Assemble:* Build scenic elements and temporary structural systems in line with company standards, ensuring durability and precision.* *Cable Management:* Run and connect electrical and communication cables based on detailed flow maps, ensuring efficient power distribution and connectivity.* *Event Setup:* Assemble and position traffic equipment such as cones, delineators, tents, and signage to facilitate smooth event operations.* *Material Handling:* Load and unload materials from trucks with efficiency and care, ensuring proper distribution on-site.* *Equipment Operation:* If certified, operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, aerial lifts, and other similar machinery, to support event setup and teardown.* *Lighting Maintenance:* Perform repairs and maintenance on RGB lighting as required, ensuring all lighting elements are fully operational and meet event standards.* *Efficient Work Practices:* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, contributing to the delivery of a polished and impressive final event.* *Professional Communication:* Keep clear and professional communication with the Event Foreman and installation crew, ensuring a seamless and coordinated installation process.* *Timekeeping Compliance:* Follow company timekeeping procedures, including the daily submission of accurate timesheets and ensuring they are correct by the predetermined deadline.*WORK SCHEDULE** 6+ days ,11 hours per day (with 1hr lunch) including weekdays, weekends, and holidays*QUALIFICATIONS** Relevant vocational training, technical courses or experience in related industries.* Forklift and Aerial certification preferred.* This position requires individuals to be on their feet extensively, and operate heavy machinery (ie forklift).* Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb and be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds regularly.* Must be able to climb ladders, stairs and withstand heights of more than 15 feet.* Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments.* This position requires working outdoors in various conditions, including rain, cold, snow and heat.* Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.Job Type: SeasonalPay: $23.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 - 60 per weekWork Location: In person
